A Message From the Founder

As someone deeply inspired by my own experiences, I am dedicated to empowering the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community. My journey has fueled my passion for providing life-changing service dogs and creating lasting change. I believe that through support, understanding, and the companionship of a trained hearing dog, we can help individuals achieve greater independence and live with confidence. Together, we can break down barriers and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Our Mission

We are committed to providing specially trained service dogs to the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community, including veterans, helping them overcome challenges and live more independently. Through our programs, we empower individuals to achieve greater safety, mobility, and confidence in their daily lives.

Our Impact

YHD successfully placed its first hearing dog with a recipient from the Hearing Loss Association of America, changing lives.

We received a $10K grant from the Colorado Commission for the Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Deaf-Blind, helping us expand our reach and services.

These milestones are made possible by the generous support of our community, allowing us to continue empowering the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community.
